Meet Xiomara Martinez

For Designer, real estate investor, writer, TV personality and dedicated loving mother, Xiomara Martinez it was obvious at a young age that she had inherited talent from her father, a popular Cuban artist, well-known in the U.S. But, it is her experience in the family’s construction and redesign business that separates her from the rest. Xiomara first developed an eye for home styling by staging investment properties she already owned to facilitate a quick sale. Now she transforms homes to fit contemporary Florida lifestyles, and stages others for resale, with flair and fitness.

She has enjoyed a spectacular record. Xiomara work has helped make speedy and profitable sales for her real estate clients, yielding an average 50 percent return on their investment. She brings a unique blend of design, merchandising and building experience, along with good, old-fashioned industriousness, thanks to her studies at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, a marketing degree from Florida International University.

The National Association of Professional Women named Xiomara Professional Woman of the Year for 2010. She also belongs to numerous association and charity groups where she motivates others to cross bridges and build success. Her enthusiasm and positive energy has allowed her to be featured in numerous newspapers and magazines, but desiring to expand her opportunities, began writing a decorating column on Coastal Breeze, a weekly newspaper, and also for D’Latinos magazine. From there, it was only natural to produce a decorating segment, “D’Latinos Decorando con Xiomara Martinez de HomeX Decor,” or “D’Latinos Decorando with Xiomara Martinez from HomeX Decor,” as part of the TV show “D’Latinos al Dia,” on the Azteca America TV channel. Her experience and her passion for design has taken her to a different level in the broadcasting industry where she produced her own TV show, “El Show de Xiomara Martinez,” showcasing million dollar homes and unique locations on Telemundo South West Florida and Univision South West Florida.

Xiomara was born in Cuba and raised in Miami, Florida. Her ability to fluently speak English and Spanish has been a major factor in her success. She continues searching for new opportunities and to expand her appearance in the television industry. When Xiomara is not designing, or staging properties; she spends her time with her daughter and her family. “Family is always first and my daughter is my inspiration in life.”
